Anti-Trans Rhetoric is Rising at the Same Time as the Consumption of Trans Porn by Gray Davidson Carroll The latter fact of which I’ve just learned courtesy of Pornhub’s TDOV report and learned furthermore, that those aged 65+ are 21% more likely to watch trans porn than the general population, which is to say, my father is significantly more likely to be found watching trans porn, possibly right now, than I am. And also that the state in which the most trans porn is consumed is Alaska, by 28%, followed by Louisiana at 25%, leading some experts to suspect a link between extreme climates and the urge for exploration. And at this very moment, my father, yes, my father, texts to ask why I haven't been returning his calls? asks, specifically, why I've been blowing him off? which is to say I have been trying, and am terrified to tell my father what I am, and that I am now thinking about blowing, and blowing off —how the best way to be heard in America is to preach bombings and bathroom bans. And how there is, in all likelihood, somewhere in Washington, a circle-jerk of senators old enough to be my father, rubberstamping another round of bills smearing our existence, before blowing their loads all over the screen.
