Inclined to brevity, I always appreciate Andrea Cohen's ability to pack a tight-fisted punch.
In today’s craze of language-heavy poetry—much of which is very good—Andrea Cohen’s poems sing in a way that is uniquely hers. Nobody uses plain language as effectively as she does. I’m a huge fan of brevity, and she’s the master.
