Oh how I love how this poem is about fear, and the healing salve of trees, the wise and forgiving beings we humans are driving virtually to extinction for the sake of cattle grazing and greed. "Forest bathing" can be such a profoundly healing gift, and re-acquaint us with the "interbeing" we're here to awaken back into the experience and knowing of. Thank you so much for including this poen in your "Only Poems Daily" edition!
Why do you ask this? I mean as a first statement? Not trying to be fussy... just find the idea of selling it versus drinking in what is moving about it, first, a curious concept.
I didn't mean to rub anyone the wrong way. Just because I can't always articulate why I love a poem doesn't mean I didn't drink it in. In any case, I deleted the comment bc you're right.

He's so good. A Kentuckian who makes one proud to be a Kentuckian.
Wendell Berry, all time fave <3
One of those poets that whose work blurs the edges of the nature, the divine, and the self.
I'd like to edit this.
Hi, Rochelle! Do you mean reprint this?
Mp. I was initially bothered by the IT, but on rereading, IT SINGS TO ME. :)
