Hooray for list poems! Hooray for political resonance that won't wear off. Putting "Who forgot to tell it like it is?" dead center of the poem, could mean a lot of things, at a lot of times, but in this time really rhymes with being "swoggled by the horns" as Jay Hopler put it in "Some Lights Go Out".
Hi Katie, absolutely! For ONLY POEMS DAILY, we accept submissions for Short Poems, Ekphrasis, Poets Howl (poems based on current events/news stories), and Best New Poems (for previously published poems).
We also take submissions at ONLY POEMS (that's our parent project) for Poem of the Month (themed), Poet of the Week, and two annual contests- The Leonard Cohen Prize and The Poet of the Year Prize. Lastly, we are currently open for submissions for the Bob Hicok Fellowship.
God Damn, I love this poet of the week! The way he twists imagery around. The mix of surreal and real. Humor that has depth beneath it. Already read all the poems and plan to come back to them later today :)

Do you take submissions? If so, how and where? Thanks.
