Bringing together two big areas of interest to me—the interplanetary and the interpersonal. It’s been awhile since a poem made me feel the way this one does at the end! Amazing where it goes and what this poem accomplishes in such small space of the page.

There must be operas and car accidents and the flicker of lights turning on and off… can’t pick a favorite line because they all shine.
