This is textbook in how to achieve clarity through strangeness. Oddly, what hooked me is the implied love / dove rhyme (perhaps only a formalist like me would make that leap, lol) and then the slant rhyme with 'drove.' The poem held me from there and never let me go. Another one I could go on and on about. I'm dying to read more from this poet
What stood out for me here were the line breaks. The double entendre, the power of reading backwards and forwards to find new meaning. Each glance for meaning, now a rotor cloud, circling itself: an empowered self-engineered dynamo within a sky expanding beyond all the desires.
