I enjoyed this interview very much. I feel as if I know her better.

I love how all her 'phobia' poems lace together violence and beauty and mystery. It's an interesting juxtaposition of the fear implied in the titles with a speaker who has found strength. I need to read more of Beth Gordon's work. .

So, so clever! This poem delivers well-wrought groups of three, a through line of life as a woman and a story-embedded list of truths. Well done, Beth Gordon!
