Welcome

Every flag
in the rain
becomes a flag
of the rain.
When we brief
each newborn
on what has
transpired so far
oh how they cry
and cry.Welcome

Brilliant.
I love the spare brilliance of "Welcome." The title expands the way a pebble, dropped in pond water, makes rings. And in so few words, the journey of the poem, by the end, becomes huge. Devastating, actually. I have a favorite poem file. In it goes. I'm floored, in the best sense. Bravo.🙏
