I am so delighted to discover this space. I love reading anything remotely poetic and writing poetry comes to me in spurts, almost like a message from the unknown. Look forward to discovering more on One Poem Daily. Thanks for creating this space.

Hello, friends 👋 Working to get back into my practice after years of only grief. So hard to step out of your mind and back onto the page when you’ve had so much practice at the former. My name’s Ty ~ Lovely to be here 🖤

3-1 Atlas may be coming to town

Go ahead and jot it down.

Is it just a comet or

The aliens we've been looking for?

How in the world will we welcome them,

Will they land on land or in a limb ?

Will they be invited to the White House ?

Will our dear leader act like a louse ?

Will they be friendly or really mean

Will they want to eat us or dream

And teach us about space travel

And planets and worlds unraveled.

Do they want to make Earth their new home?

Will they make war or leave us alone?

Who among us would want to go

To another planet that we don't know?

Thank you for this opportunity and prompt 💜

Stumbling across your profile has lifted my heart. Its amazingly well structured and I'm very much looking forward to getting all the poetry you've described. I'm impressed.

Writing is an urge for me - a way to grow and release. When I’ve ignored myself, I’ve stopped writing. My recent awakening back into my own life means that I'm writing a lot, getting back to the reality of my own thoughts. Living through years of hellish abuse was terrible, but I've decided this experience must have goodness grow from the dirt I've been buried under, to bring awareness and help others identify the new and advanced ways abusers use technology as a tool in their coercive control tactics.

My poetry is healing me. I post some of it here https://substack.com/@jessmaeve and a lot of it is just in a photo format of the handwritten poem.

I'm also writing a series on AI-enabled coercive control: identifying the patterns, giving survivors language, and urging law/tech to catch up - because too many courts still treat “AI” as a buzzword, not an accomplice.

Hello all! I came across you all awhile ago, but didn't get a chance to post yet. I share my poetry over at https://ajwagoner.substack.com/. I've got one book 'published' (by small publisher, so not on any websites) of poems when I was overseas for a year-ish doing missions. I have another 3 poetry manuscripts I'm trying to figure out the best way to format and get compiled to publish somehow (haven't figured it all out yet).

I write about whatever comes up, but pieces of my faith are strewn about everywhere I feel like. I write prophetic poetry for people I encounter (what ministry leaders and other men of faith called it and God confirmed, so I've taken hold of it).

Hey all. I never considered myself a poet, but I've somehow accidentallied my way into being considered one. I've even won prizes for it. Whut? I think I've had more poetry published than prose, and that still shocks my brain meats. How did this happen? It is a mystery.

Hi there, I'm Vinnie, a poet trying to capture the essence of whatever draws my mind. I like musical poems, sounds that build, and pieces that ask the unexpected of the reader.

Hello everyone! My name is Lilith, and I would like to introduce you all to myself and my “Poetry Sister” Vanessa.

We are a bit unusual, in that we are two alters in a DID (dissociative identity disorder) system. See the below link for more info on that.

Thanks!

A platform can only be as good as we make it, so, in the words of Captain Kirk, "Make it so."

Hi. I'm eighty-one years old enough to know better, and generally don't, which is why I write.

endure when you lie back, and need to relax. There is beauty in poetry. Lovers share it with their partner. Repetition creates alliteration to roll off a reader's tounge. Once sprung rhyme can make you feel young. poets endue sharing more
