. . .and in my opinion his other poems in this suite are even better. I especially love 'Waves of Mermaid' and 'Swiss Army Saviour' The twists and turns in these poems are amazing. Yet they keep me along for the ride. The humor is perfect--there's certainly not enough of that in contemporary poetry. There's also not enough of toixic masculinity, especially in combination with toxic Christianity--two of my favorite subjects. The poems are greater than just subject matter--the craft of them is exquisite. I'm a fan of brevity, and what's left out is as important as what's put in. I can't say enough about the poems, and loved the interview as well. Have you heard of Christopher Coake? If you're into short stories at all, check out his collection about toxic masculinity, You Would Have Told Me Not To. Don't mean to ramble, but some of your poets just make me want to go on and on.

Does he remind you of WCW or are you recommending? Either way, a poetry legend.

I really like your poem, I read it over several times and each time I discovered something new. That to my mind is a very good poem.

The best poems have this uncanny ability to offer something new upon each read. So happy this is one of them for you!
